How can I be saved?
Because God is absolutely holy and just, His standard to enter into His presence is absolute perfection. His character will not allow Him to be polluted by sin. He has given His commandments as the standard for human behavior. God’s only just response to sin is to punish it and cast it out of His holy presence. Exodus 34: 6-7, Matthew 5:48
We were born sinners separated from a Holy God. All men are in need of a savior because no one is good.
James 2:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23
God is merciful. He has made a way for us to be restored to a right relationship with Him. Because He loves us, God sent His perfect Son, Jesus Christ, to earth. Jesus paid for the sins of His children by becoming the ultimate sacrifice the cross. Jesus’ resurrection from the dead proved His power over death and sealed for us the gift of eternal life.
Romans 5:8, 1 Peter 2:24, 1 Peter 3:18
Salvation is a gift from God. You must personally repent (turn away) from your sins and place your trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. You forsake everything… religion, good works, etc… and TRUST IN CHRIST ALONE. CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD FOR SALVATION!
